Anthony “Tony Mastro” Mastroianni, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, business owner, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2019 at Montefiore Hospital of New Rochelle.
Mr. Mastroianni was born on December 18, 1931 to Marcellino Mastroianni and Nicolina Pepe of New York City. He served in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean War. He then become a manager at Paramount Vending before founding his own company, Mastro Vending, in 1990.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rosemarie, siblings Sylvio Mastroianni and Anna DaCorta, sons Nicholas (Naomi) of Somers, NY, and Peter (Kathi) of New Rochelle, NY, and 5 loving grandchildren—Jennifer Dunn, Nicholas Mastroianni (Nicole), Matthew Mastroianni, Michael Mastroianni, and Samantha Mastroianni. He is predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Dunn (Jim) of Yonkers. He loved entertaining and enjoying the sun with family and friends at his beach house in Long Beach.
Funeral Mass Saturday, July 6, 2019 10 AM at Saint John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704 with Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, New York 10532. The family will be present on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 3-8 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc, Funeral Home & Cremation Services- 732 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704.
